The organising committee with Andrea Ricci and Riccardo Ammannato has prepared an exception social program for the EAED Closed Meeting to let you enjoy the unique beauty of azure waters, golden sands, and rich history of the Costa Smeralda.

EAED Rubber Boat Tour

Set off for the EAED tour in a a rubber dinghy directly at the Colonna Resort to discover the most evocative coves of the Costa Smeralda, in north-eastern Sardinia! A few minutes of navigation you will find unique places, blue and emerald green waters and breathtaking coves. No matter for which tour you sign up, for sure, this will be a wonderful experience to complement our time during the EAED Closed Meeting, and on board there will be an aperitif of typical Sardinian products. If you're looking for even more adventure, no problem, Standing Up Paddles and snorkelling equipment are available on board.

Practical Information:

Each rubber boat has a maximum capacity of 15-17 people. There will be several boats available for the tours.
Rubber boats are equipped with a toilet and a small cabin to get changed if necessary.
It is recommended to bring a beach towel from the hotel.
Due to the limited space on board, bags with personal belongings should not be too bulky.

Rubber Boat Tour on Friday – Tour to La Maddalena

La Maddalena was founded in 1770, it overlooks Palau and can only be reached by sea. La Maddalena is internationally known for its enchanting and unique landscapes, crystal clear waters and pristine Mediterranean scrub.

Rubber Boat Tour on Sunday – Tour to Corse

Board again on Sunday and set off for a fantastic tour that will take you to the coast of Corsica! From Sardinia to France, it will be a day of discovery, fun and relax. Immersed in the crystalline colours of the sea and the blue sky, you can admire the Cave of Bonifacio and there will be time to relax at the fabulous beaches of Isola Piana and Lavezzi Island. Join us for a day to recharge the batteries in the open air after some intense Meeting days!

Sightseeing and Shopping in Porto Cervo

Don´t miss the chance to visit Porto Cervo, undisputed capital of Costa Smeralda. With just a few hundred residents, in the summer, it becomes an extraordinary procession of hundreds of yachts and famous personalities: it is quite likely that you will find yourself in the square, shopping with stars of the cinema and the television.

The seaside village emerged around a natural cove that resembles a deer. The old port dates back to the 1960s, when Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, captivated by the beauty of this stretch of coastline, had a brilliant idea when he decided to buy the lands of this part of Gallura and, together to the Swiss-French set designer Jacques Couelle, and later assisted by several Italian architects, he brought life to this paradise of international elite tourism. In the 1980s, the work to build the new tourist port began, which is now one of the biggest and best equipped in the Mediterranean (700 boat moorings).

There is a shuttle bus service free of charge provided by the Colonna Resort at fixed times. Please note: The transfer must be booked via the concierge latest 30 minutes prior the scheduled transfer time.

City Tour and Shopping in San Pantaleo

San Pantaleo is the village of artists and located 25 kilometres away from Olbia located in a granite landscape. It is a small city but full of ideas like a street market, the stazzi (rural dwellings), Bohemian spirit and iconic scenes from a James Bond film.

The village stands on the granite massif of Cugnana, surrounded by nature that has maintained its wild appearance despite the glamour of the nearby Costa Smeralda, still shining since the 1960s. The city emerged at the end of the 19th century around a small church dedicated to Saint Pantaleo, rural at that time, and has witnessed an increase in its houses, over time and on a regular basis, built according to the typical model of the Gallura stazzo.
